Terms of service.

1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to the MeetKeeper app for macOS and to the website at www.meetkeeper.fun (together, "MeetKeeper"). MeetKeeper is made by Anshuman ("we", "us") and sold through Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), our merchant of record. By downloading, installing, buying or using MeetKeeper you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

2. Free trial

You can use every feature of MeetKeeper free for 14 days from the first time you open it. No card or account is needed for the trial. When it ends, you need a licence to keep using MeetKeeper. If you installed MeetKeeper before licences were introduced, your 14 days start when the update that adds them is installed.

3. Licence

When you buy MeetKeeper, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it, for personal or business purposes, on up to 2 Macs at the same time that you own or control. Each Mac that uses your licence key takes one of those two places; to move MeetKeeper to another Mac, remove it from one of them first, or ask us. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it includes the updates we publish for MeetKeeper. MeetKeeper checks your licence with Polar from time to time when it is online. You may not sell, rent, share, publish, sublicense or redistribute MeetKeeper or your licence key, remove its notices, or present it as your own. A key that has been shared, published or resold may be switched off.

4. Buying a licence

The price is $9.99 in US dollars, paid once, plus any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies where you live. Payments are handled by Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), our merchant of record and authorised reseller: Polar processes your payment, adds and pays that tax, and issues your receipt. Checkout shows the final amount before you pay, and the Polar checkout buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Your licence key is sent to the email address you give at checkout, and you can find it again in your Polar orders.

5. Refunds

If MeetKeeper isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. The refund policy explains how refunds work.

6. Your calendars and accounts

MeetKeeper works with calendars and accounts that belong to you: the Calendar app on your Mac, and Google Calendar, Outlook or Notion if you choose to connect them. You are responsible for those accounts and for anything MeetKeeper does at your request through them, such as creating events, inviting people or sending cancellations. Connecting Google, Microsoft or Notion also means accepting their terms.

7. What we don't do

There is no MeetKeeper account and no MeetKeeper server holding your calendars. We don't collect your calendar data, we don't run analytics inside the app, and we can't see how you use it. If you send feedback from the app, we receive what you write and, if you leave diagnostics on, a description of the app's setup. If you buy a licence, Polar keeps the record of your purchase. The privacy policy describes exactly what the app touches on your Mac.

8. Acceptable use

Use MeetKeeper lawfully and considerately. Don't use it to send unwanted invitations, to access calendars you aren't allowed to access, or to interfere with other people's systems. Don't try to break, reverse engineer or tamper with the app, its signing, its trial or licence check, or its connection to Google, Microsoft or Notion, beyond what the law expressly permits.

9. Updates and availability

We may release updates that add, change or remove features, and we may stop distributing MeetKeeper at any time. Updates are installed by downloading a new version. Features that depend on third parties, such as Google Meet or Teams links and Notion databases, depend on those services continuing to offer them.

10. No warranty

MeetKeeper is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, except where the law doesn't allow them to be excluded. We don't promise that it will be error-free, that it will show every event, or that alerts will always fire. Please don't rely on it as your only reminder for anything important.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, missed meetings, lost data or lost time, arising from your use of or inability to use MeetKeeper. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for MeetKeeper. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using MeetKeeper at any time by deleting it from your Mac; that also removes everything it stored. We may end your licence if you break these terms. Sections 10, 11 and 13 continue to apply afterwards.

13. Intellectual property

MeetKeeper, its name, mark, wordmark, icon and design are ours. Google Calendar, Google Meet, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Notion, Zoom, macOS and MacBook are trademarks of their respective owners, and MeetKeeper is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

14. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be published here with a new date. Continuing to use MeetKeeper after that means you accept the new terms. Changes never take away a licence you have already bought. We'll keep them as short as we can.
